Mellisa had the name for her business picked out: "Daydreamer Designworks," and she knew she wanted her logo and site design to include clouds and gears. I was able to put together a whimsical design that included her design ideas in a colorful way. I added just a bit of realism with watercolor texturing and drop-shadowed elements. I then coded the design to skin each area of her site, installed everything, and designed a custom homepage that pulls recent product images from the store, recent layouts from the gallery, and an excerpt from the most recent blog post.
