Erin started My Urban Suburban about a year ago, wanting to provide a resource for other "Urban Suburbans" like herself, that would give shop reviews, local event news, etc. to people living in the Fraser Valley. The original blog had a very simple design and function, and a year later Erin was ready to take My Urban Suburban to the next level. We started out with a fresh logo design, and from there created a clean and open blog design that followed the style of the logo. We also added a recent posts slider to the top of the blog, to give visitors a quick idea of what's new on the site since the last time they visited, as well as a top navigation that makes getting around the site a LOT easier. Last but not least, we added a gallery page where Erin could feature photography of the Fraser Valley area.
