Eva pictured a clean, graphic look with lots of colorful, freestyle swirls for her blog, and I had so much fun coming up with this design for her.  She chose the color palette, and I created the freestyle swirls in Illustrator.  I kept the main post area clean and simple with touches of color in the date blocks and sidebar, allowing the background to really stand out.
